It started over 100 years ago, when Adolph Gund built a reputation far different from his competitors by staying true to what he believed in: superior designs, integrity and incomparable quality. Gund's reputation of being “The World's Most Huggable” came from Gund's obsessive attention to craftsmanship, quality and commitment to innovation. Gund created many of the industry standards today including safety standards and the manufacturing processes for toys.
